Words from the Smith

Words are like the softest silk.
You have to choose them to make a dress of white and pink.
Words are ingredients of a good recipe
Mixed and cooked into a gourmet for you and me.
They are like precious diamonds and stones,
Hard to find but can make the prettiest ring that you can loan.
Words, as complicated as they can be,
They are oh, so dear to me.
I am a wordsmith, do you know me?
I weave words together and choose them carefully.
I struggle so much to find the finest word,
You won’t even think that my work is absurd.
I stay up all night, sometimes all day, too.
While I work on my job I think of you.
So I hope you find time to read while there you sit.
I pray that you appreciate the works of a wordsmith.
